Schuylkill County Fundraising for Teams, Schools, and Community Causes

Keep your volunteers focused on the cause while R&K Subs handles the sandwiches. Our fresh sub and pretzel sandwich fundraisers give Schuylkill County organizations a practical way to raise money for activities, equipment, and community projects.

Choose traditional or fully online ordering, invite supporters to participate, and coordinate pickup with your group. R&K prepares the food and boxes orders by salesperson before delivery.

Put Sandwich Sales to Work for Your Cause

From Fire Company Supporters to Scout Families

R&K’s order history includes a range of Schuylkill County organizations:

  • Good Will Fire Company No. 4 of Pottsville, PA
  • Tamaqua Football
  • Schuylkill Haven Area High School
  • Frackville Little League
  • Pack 624 – Cub Scouts (Orwigsburg)

These local examples show how different groups have participated in R&K sales. Your fundraiser can center on the specific need your members are working to meet, whether that’s replacing equipment, supporting student activities, or funding a service project.

Choose the Sale Your Volunteers Can Manage

Before announcing the fundraiser, decide who will coordinate it and how sellers will collect orders.

With a traditional fundraiser, participants take orders and collect payments directly from supporters. The coordinator gathers the completed forms and submits the group’s order to R&K.

With a fully online fundraiser, supporters place orders and pay by credit or debit card. Transactions are tracked together, orders are submitted automatically, and R&K sends the profit check to your group.

Give People a Menu Along With Your Message

Tell supporters what their purchase will help fund, then show them what they can order. A clear purpose and a useful menu make your announcement easier to act on.

Fresh subs and pretzel sandwiches give supporters options for lunch at work, dinner after practice, or a family meal on pickup day.

View our menu for available selections and product and nutritional information. Include the link in your emails, social posts, and fundraiser reminders.

Set your selling prices using current product costs. Calculate earnings per item before choosing a sales target so volunteers know what they’re working toward.

Fundraising Resources for Your Organization

Your group’s purpose shapes how you promote the sale. Explore ideas for:

Schools and youth activities: School fundraisers can support educational trips, performances, and extracurricular programs. Fundraising for kids can help younger participants contribute toward an activity, with adults managing orders and distribution.

Athletics and member groups: Sports team fundraising can help cover uniforms, equipment, and travel. Club fundraising can support member activities and service projects. Sub sales for alumni organizations can also bring former classmates together around scholarships or school needs.

Community and personal causes: Find resources for nonprofit fundraising and church fundraising, or explore fundraising for individuals when friends and family want to help with a personal cause.

Set a Schedule That Works in Your Part of Schuylkill County

Whether you’re organizing in Pottsville, Schuylkill Haven, Orwigsburg, Tamaqua, Minersville, Frackville, Shenandoah, or Pine Grove, choose dates around your group’s existing commitments.

Check for games, performances, meetings, and other fundraisers that might compete for volunteers or supporters. Confirm your delivery address and available dates with R&K before sharing the schedule.

Delivery minimums vary based on distance from the Palmyra kitchen. Contact R&K with your location and estimated order size to discuss the requirements.

For traditional sales, allow about two to three weeks for selling and submit the completed order at least seven days before delivery. Give participants an earlier deadline so your coordinator has time to review their submissions.

Plan the Pickup Before the Orders Arrive

Choose a distribution location your group has permission to use, with enough space for volunteers and participants collecting boxes. Share the full address and pickup window, along with a contact number for questions.

R&K delivers in refrigerated trucks, with orders sorted and boxed by salesperson. Volunteers can hand out those boxes, and sellers can distribute purchases to their supporters.

Arrange refrigeration for sandwiches awaiting collection and decide how late pickups will be handled. After the sale, thank supporters and share what the proceeds will help accomplish.
