Get Your Mifflin County Fundraiser Moving

Local Participation, From Marching Band to Cheerleading

R&K’s order history includes Mifflin County Marching Band and Mifflin County Cheerleading.

If your organization is planning its first sandwich sale, start by deciding what the proceeds will support and who will coordinate the fundraiser. Then contact R&K to discuss dates, ordering options, and delivery arrangements.

Connect Your Sale to a Clear Goal

Supporters shouldn’t have to guess how their purchase helps. Give them a specific purpose, such as covering transportation to a competition or buying supplies for an upcoming program.

R&K offers resources for different kinds of groups:

Keep that purpose visible in your order announcements and reminders. A short, consistent message helps every seller explain the fundraiser.

Make Ordering Part of People’s Meal Plans

A sandwich sale gives supporters something useful in return for their purchase. They can plan lunch for work, a meal after practice, or an easy dinner on pickup day. No dishes to wash!

View our menu to explore fresh subs, pretzel sandwiches, and product and nutritional information. Share the link with your announcement so supporters can see their options before ordering.

Review current product costs and choose your selling prices before launching. Knowing your earnings per item helps you set a practical sales target and track progress toward your goal.

Choose Your Fundraising Format

Traditional fundraising lets sellers collect orders and payments directly. Your coordinator brings the submissions together and sends the completed order to R&K.

Fully online fundraising lets supporters order and pay by credit or debit card. Transactions are tracked in one place, orders are submitted automatically, and R&K sends the profit check to your group.

Organize Pickup for Your Mifflin County Participants

Groups in Lewistown, Burnham, Yeagertown, Reedsville, Milroy, Belleville, and McVeytown may draw supporters from several nearby communities. Choose a distribution point based on where your participants can reasonably collect their orders.

A school, church, or regular meeting location may work well if you have permission to use it. Confirm the address and delivery availability with R&K before sharing the date publicly.

Assign responsibilities ahead of time: one person to coordinate with R&K, volunteers to receive and distribute boxes, and a contact for anyone who misses pickup. Include the full address and pickup window in every reminder.

Orders arrive in refrigerated trucks, sorted and boxed by salesperson. Arrange refrigeration for sandwiches awaiting collection so your pickup plan accounts for the food as well as the people.

Before You Announce the Sale

What delivery minimum applies to our location?

R&K’s delivery minimums vary based on distance from its Palmyra kitchen. Call 717-838-5907 with your proposed Mifflin County delivery address and estimated order size to confirm the requirements.

How far ahead should we plan our local fundraiser?

Allow about two to three weeks for selling, plus the lead time before delivery. Your completed order is due to R&K at least seven days before the delivery date. Set an earlier deadline for sellers so you can review totals and follow up on missing forms.

Do we have to separate everyone’s sandwiches ourselves?

R&K boxes orders by salesperson before delivery. Volunteers can hand out those boxes, and each seller can distribute purchases to their supporters.
